Grassroots action
for resilient futures.

Born in Ragihalli, 16 Doddi Trust is a grassroots movement where women and youth are reclaiming futures once disrupted by mining. Led by community resilience and rooted in agroecology, food, and ecosystem restoration, we are building scalable models that strengthen livelihoods and create fairer, healthier systems for all.

"Doddi, in Kannada, means a small settlement — often overlooked, yet full of resilience. Our name carries their spirit forward."

Our Work at a Glance

We focus on four interconnected areas that shape stronger communities.

1. Food & Agroecology

Kitchen gardens, CSA farms, and organic certification through PGS.

2. Women & Youth Leadership
Enterprises, governance training, and youth collectives.

3. Education & Learning
Community farms as living classrooms for schools and youth.

4. Ecosystem Restoration
Reclaiming commons, conserving biodiversity, and securing water & land for resilience.

Our Impact at a Glance

Agriculture, Conservation, Livelihood, Education and Health of the Ragihalli Community are our priorities.

Small, de-centralised and consistent support is our way of making a difference.
