Some Rules for All of Us
01
Owning Together
Your Kai Thota is your garden managed by our farmers and it’s not a guaranteed vegetable delivery service. The more you engage with the farmers the better will be the output. This will also be a process of learning to co-work and the inter-dependencies between you and our farmers. We will grow the vegetables only using natural/organic farming methods and there will be absolutely no chemicals used. The farmers and the Buffalo Back team will put in their best efforts to ensure the good health of the gardens. Seasonal variations in yields are common but we are also fortunate not to have extreme seasonal fluctuations in and around Bangalore. A sense of gratitude and appreciation will take all of us a long way in the process
On your subscription, we will share details of how you could inform us of your visit. Ideally, you could visit on any day comfortable for you but during daylight. Our village is in an ecologically sensitive zone and it’s important that your visits do not disturb the harmony of the place. Alcohol, drugs and smoking are strictly not allowed on the farm. Do not litter the village or the forest. Make sure to carry your own bags to take back your harvest.

Visiting your Kai Thota
03
Kai thota’s are also a great space to learn and experiment. If you have any seeds or seedlings you would like to grow, discuss them with the farmers and do your own experiments. A lot can be learned from the farmers and our mentors who will be guiding this process.
